Greece
In summer 2019 I went to Greece for a month and visited Kefalonia, Mykonos, Santorini, IOS, Paros and Skiathos.
Price: I reckon in total I spent 2000 pounds including EVERYTHING. (Flights, accommodation, spending money). You can do it more expensively or cheaper but If you do it much cheaper I think you will miss out on a lot but if you just want beaches and aren't to bothered about going of the beaten track (basically all the best parts) then you can do it cheaper.
Greece is such a beautiful country and going anywhere in Greece would be incredible. This is a brief summary of all the islands I visited. You can click on the separate links to get in depth details of the islands and my top places to go! We did a lot of supermarket food shops and just bought bread Hummus and Tzatziki as it was so yum and so cheap! (Lemon hummus is 10/10).
Kefalonia - Probably the quietest island I went to. Not much of a going out scene and restaurants are mostly quite basic but such a beautiful island and overall quite cheap. Empty beaches are hard to find in Greece so it really is in my opinion the best place to go if you don't mind the quiet life.
Mykonos - I was surprised about how beautiful the beaches in Mykonos were. Mykonos is crazy busy though and very expensive. You can still eat for like 3 pounds on gyros so it can be done cheap but you will have to pay for a sun bed on every beach and restaurants are very expensive. It is beautiful though and is definitely worth going if you have the budget!
Santorini - IT IS SO BUSY! Personally I would say don't go until you can afford a cliff side room...(if you can 100% go). If you dream of going and are willing to survive the people there are plenty of hidden gems but the main touristy stuff was ridiculously crowded so I'd probably just skip that and do the not so well known activities and skip most of the beaches...
IOS - The Aussie party island. IOS is both beautiful and fun! The town isn't anything particularly special so if you have a bigger budget there are probably other island more suited but for a holiday with friends IOS couldn't be more perfect.
Paros - Paros has nightlife, beautiful beaches and lots to do. It is more expensive but can still be done on a budget. The town here is beautiful but restaurants are pricy but you always have the choice of cheap gyros!
Skiathos - The MAMA MIA! island. Maybe its because I love MAMA MIA! but the island is truly magical all be it a bit commercial but the beaches are stunning, transport is so easy and prices are moderate. So many activities and things to see here couldn't recommend it more.
