Santorini

It is beautiful but as said before I wouldn't go unless you can afford the cliff top rooms as it feels like if you're in Santorini you should be in one.

Things I liked (and actually loved):
1. Fira to Oia beach walk (some parts are shut off). We only did half of the three hour walk so can't comment on everything but that little part of the walk was probably my favourite thing to do in Santorini. Imerovigli (like a town) is kind of in the middle of the coastal walk and that's where we turned around but it is really lovely there.
2. In Imerovigli there is a rock called Skaros rock which has amazing views of the sunset (I'm not sure whether watching the sunset from the rock or with a view of the rock is better). The climb up the rock is fun though so worth doing and great views! (you can't climb to the very top though sad.)
3. Oia sunset - if you really insist on doing this PAY. Pay to get a spot to sit and drink its just not fun wrestling crowds. If you really want to go at least go 3 hours BEFORE sunset to get a spot at the castle (sit on the wall so that people don't just come and stand in front of you but I can't imagine that's very comfortable for 3.5 hours...).
4. An alternative is near by in Oia there is a pool bar (Lioyerma Lounge cafe) that apparently has really good sunsets. It's not the white building sunset in postcards but if you want a spot to watch the sunset check it out.
5. Oia again TOO BUSY and I'm ok with busy but maybe its cause the friend I was with hates busy but it was very noticeably busy. I WARNED YOU! BUT look at number 6 for something to do in Oia
6. Amoudi bay- The beach in Oia. Swimming in the water whilst looking up at the white houses on the cliff was magical. You can also jump from a weird concrete platform thing so if you get bored of the views always something to do! TO GET TO THE BEACH: turn LEFT at the bottom of the stairs I think apple maps says the wrong way?
7. Quad for the day. (ours cost 50 Euros but you can hire them for like 35 just not that reliable) on the quad go to the three old towns Pyrgos (actually loved it here it was empty! and beaut), Emporio (kind of a reddish town it is nice but meh and then Megalochori (this ones cute too! Find the village square, we found it quite hard aha, and get lunch there the restaurants looked so cute and weren't too expensive. Then go to Red beach (mehhhhh I would miss) then Black beach (do NOT go to Kamari its ugly and gross compared to the other black beaches. Perissa was a nice black beach and it actually was really cool seeing a black beach!)
8. Wineries we didn't go but there looks like some really gorgeous ones so do some research and go!
